Frédéric’s father was a sailor, so he passed on his passion for sailing to his son. On his catamaran, Frédéric started helping customers to explore paradise archipelagos such as Sierra Leone, Madagascar, Dominican Republic, Turkey, Thailand, Vietnam and the Seychelles.
Then, as luck would have it, he entered Clubaventure. Thanks to his strong logistic experience, he was in charge of setting up a local agency in France, to operate their trips directly. This varied experience, convinced him that adventure trip should always be operated this way.
Then… Altaï Group
He shared this conviction with Yannick Briand, who had been his friend for more than 20 years and ran 66°Nord, a DMC network specialised in polar adventures. Together, they decided to gather together their DMCs and their teams to create the Altaï Group.
